Overcoming inefficiencies in healthcare data management
A leading organization sought to improve healthcare data management using generative AI tools, specifically the OpenAI LLM model. The project focused on identifying and addressing challenges in the management of healthcare data by leveraging generative AI tools particularly the OpenAI LLM model. The project aimed to demonstrate the model’s potential in translating medical forms into English, extracting critical data from complex adverse event forms, and streamlining literature searches to generate summaries and answer key queries.

Harnessing Large Language Model (LLM) for Healthcare Data Transformation
Healthark played a crucial role in implementing the generative AI solutions. We utilized the OpenAI ChatGPT (LLMs) model, specifically gpt3.5-Turbo-16k. Our responsibilities involved outlining the technical aspects of the project, including the tools, libraries, and frameworks used. We analyzed how the ChatGPT model could align with project KPIs and contribute to transforming healthcare data management. Additionally, we incorporated prompt engineering to optimize the model’s effectiveness and tailor it to the specific needs of the project.
- Form Translation We deployed the AI model to translate medical forms from multiple languages into English, focusing on adapting the translation process to support additional languages as required by future use cases.
- Data Extraction The model was designed to interpret and process intricate, evolving data formats. Emphasis was placed on extracting crucial information from adverse event forms to ensure accurate reporting and diagnosis.
- Literature Search By employing the model, we optimized the workflow for scanning vast medical literature, generating summaries, and delivering precise answers to specific queries, thereby enhancing research efficiency.
